We advise to install the charger at least a month or 2 weeks prior the car delivery for the following reasons:

  • To avoid any delays due to high demand.
  • To guaranty getting a charger in hand before it gets out of stock.
  • To plan the scope of work on how to lay the cables and do the charger installation in a professional way.

Yes. Our firm is one of the approved Tesla charger installers. You may verify at Tesla website:

https://www.tesla.com/en_AE/support/find-electrician

We are using 4-core armored cable size 10mm along with earth cable size 6mm, brands like RR or DUCAB, all fitted inside PVC insulation.

We use residual circuit breaker RCB 40A along with waterproof isolator 40A, brand ABB or GEWISS.

It depends on the cabling distance. If the cabling laid on the wall, it will take between 1 to 3 working hours. If the cabling laid underground with civil works, it may take between 3 to 4 working hours. The job can be competed in the same day.

Yes. We offer 2 years warranty on installation, which covers any failures on the cabling, electrical components.

Charger warranty is 1-2 years (depends on brand) which covers manufacturer defects on the product.

Note: if the product is installed by an electrician outside our firm, then we handle no responsibility on installation. In case the product was defected due to incorrect wiring, then warranty will not cover product replacement.

You can pay in advance, or during the work, or after the work is completed within the same day.

You can pay using credit/debit card, or cash, or online bank transfer.

We can only provide Tesla wall connector once the client provides a valid Tesla VIN number. We do not keep any stock of Tesla wall connectors with us because Tesla only sells their wall connectors for those who owns a Tesla car.

If the wall connector is not available at Tesla, we advise to order buy it online from Tesla website. Once the charger delivered to your house, we may do the installation immediately. You may buy the Tesla wall connector online here:

The charger has IP44 rating water and dust proof. It can withstand temperatures up to 50C. However, it is recommended to place the charger under sun shade. Direct sunlight during summer season may affect the charger.

We can provide safety enclosure for the charger to protect it from direct sunlight. It can also be locked to protect the charger from vandalism. The enclosure option is 400 AED. Please visit our online store to view the details.

Porsche Taycan does include a Porsche mobile charger that comes with the car. It can be used as a 3-phase fast charging, or in any domestic socket 220V by changing its adapter.

We can provide the installation of the Porsche mobile charger. However, If you would like to have a stationary charger at home while keeping the Porsche mobile charger for emergency use outside, you may buy one of our products in our online store.

Yes you may buy the chargers from our online store and ship it anywhere within UAE, or you may pass by our shop in Dubai.

Charging speed depends on 3 things:

  • Charger power in kW
  • EV model and its maximum capability
  • EV battery size in kWh

Chargers come in various powers like 3kW, 7kW, 11kW or 22kW. On the other hand, every EV has its own capability in receiving the power. Some EVs cannot accept more than 7kW regardless of how much the charger can produce, and some EVs can accept 11kW or even 22kW. These limits are set by the EV manufacturer and cannot be changed.

For example, an EV has a battery size of 80kWh, capable of receiving 7kW max, and connected to a 22kW charger, then the charging speed will be 7kW only. We simply divide the battery size by the charging speed, and we get the number of hours to fully charge the battery:
80 ÷ 7 = 11.5 hours

Electricity tariff rate differs between every emirate; also, it varies between citizens and expats.

Abu Dhabi: Tariff rate is 30 fils per kWh (for installed energy meter houses by ADDC). For example, Tesla Model 3 or Model Y has battery size of 80kWh. The cost will be 0.3×80=24 AED per full charge.

Dubai: Tariff rate is 12.5 fils per kWh (for citizens red slab) and 38 fils per kWh (for expats red slab). For example, Tesla Model 3 or Model Y has battery size of 80kWh. The cost will be 0.125×80=10 AED (for citizens) and 0.138×80=30.4 AED (for expats) per full charge.

For Sharjah and other Emirates: It is almost similar to Dubai with few fils variation.

Yes. Tesla or Porsche chargers may charge any other car and vice versa, as long as the charging port is the same type (Type 2).

US Spec Tesla has different charging port. Therefore, Tesla chargers of our region will not fit the US imported Tesla, and there are no adapters to convert a US Tesla to Type2.

Installing a charger in a building is possible in very few cases, but it is conditional. Conditions differ from one building to another. First thing is to get permission and approval from building management.

No. it is not the same. In fact, it costs higher than installing in a villa. Since the charger will not be connected to the apartment meter, a separate energy meter is required for the charger to monitor its consumption. The cost for the energy meter is 800 AED.

Usually the cabling will be much longer distance than in the villa depending on where’s the nearest electrical room from the desired parking. Also, the specifications in the building has to be in a certain standard such as GI conduits and cable trays. The cost per meter may reach up to 80 AED.

  • The tenant/landlord shall speak with the building management about his/her desire to install a charger in their parking lot.
  • The tenant/landlord shall get us a permission from the building management to make a site visit to the building to check the nearest electric room and take the measurements.
  • After completing the site visit, our team will verify whether or not installing a charger is possible.
  • In case it is feasible, our team will submit a proposal to the building management showing a detailed method statement with drawings and figures. A quotation with the total cost will be sent to the tenant/landlord.
  • An agreement shall be made between the building management and the tenant/landlord, on how to handle the cost of charger’s consumption. It is either by installing an energy meter and charge the tenant on the consumption based on the tariff rates, or by charging a fixed annual fee which covers a full year consumption.
  • After the agreement between both parties, getting the approval from building management to install the charger, approval from the tenant/landlord on the quotation, the installation will be scheduled, once gate pass/work permit is issued by building security to us to start the work.
  • The process usually takes from 20 to 30 working days, depending on how fast the building management may response.

Yes. It is possible to relocate the charger to another place. In fact, moving a charger to a new place requires more time and effort than a new installation. The cost depends on the following scenarios:

  • Remove the charger only, keep the old cabling as it is, and make new cabling in the new place; Cost will be similar to new standard installation charges.
  • Remove the charger along with old cabling, and the new place requires less cabling distance; Cost will be 1000 AED + any additional civil works + VAT.
  • The new place requires longer cabling than the old place; We cannot re-use the old cabling. Therefore the cost will be similar to new standard installation charges.
  • The old cabling is done underground; We cannot re-use the old cabling. Therefore the cost will be similar to new standard installation charges.

It is highly recommended that the EV charging station should be part of the design of the house, to ensure that the electrical load of the house is capable and to avoid electrical constraints in the future.

The first step is to install the charger, then apply for ADDC meter. To apply for ADDC meter, click here:

The normal electric plug cannot handle the required power of the charger. The charger requires higher power and thicker cables in which it cannot go through the conduits of the normal socket.

Yes. A 3-phase charger can be installed on a single-phase connection, but that will limit the output power of the charger from 3kW to 7KW (slower charging speed). While if the charger installed on a 3-phase connection, the power output will be from 11kW to 22kW (faster charging speed).

It is not possible to install a supercharger at home. One supercharger requires 250kW of DC power, which is equivalent to total load of 5 households together. The cost of installing one supercharger could reach half a million AED.

Imported cars from China has different charging port than the gulf-spec cars in UAE. It needs an adapter to convert the charging port from GB/T to Type 2 to be able to charge anywhere in UAE. You may buy the adapter from our online store.

Yes, we do have the adapter in stock. And you may buy it from our online store.
  • For AC chargers: AED 0.70 per kWh + VAT
  • For DC chargers: AED 1.20 per kWh + VAT
